Thanks :D I was worried I overexposed it, but when I imported it, I could see the bolt. All I really had to do is lower the exposure a bit and mess with a few little things and it was great.

Nice shot! I may not like thunderstorms too much, but I do like looking at photographs of lightning! Awesome that your shot made it into the news!

Thanks :D I love sitting outside under my porch or at the window during storms so I can get shots like this. I'm so mad, there was a storm sitting about 20 miles to the east of me and not moving, and I could see the frequent lightning..if only it was over my town...

I'm trying to get myself to sit through a storm outside. I will watch one as long as it is far in the distance, but once it gets too close I move away from windows and don't go outside, lol.

Sorry you missed the one storm. :( But there'll be many more! :D

Yeah, I used to go inside when it got really close, but not anymore :D It gets creepy when you get a bright enough flash to turn the streetlights out though, it's really dark then.

WNEP. I got it on at 5:30 and 7:00. Didn't check 11:00 though.
